Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer , hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic steatosis, hepatitis , metastases to bone, prostate cancer , prostatic specific antigen increased, rhabdomyolysis. Ketoconazole dosage: 400 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOVASTATIN, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient recovered.
