Male patient, child 4. years of age, weighting 47.50 lb, was diagnosed with phenylketonuria  and was treated with Kuvan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrooesophageal reflux disease, oropharyngeal pain. Kuvan dosage: 400 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMINS W. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , dyspepsia, gastrooesophageal reflux disease. Kuvan dosage: 200 MG;TID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN, CIMETIDINE. Patient recovered.

Kuvan dosage: 300 MG;QD;PO; 600 MG;QD;PO; 300 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN, CIMETIDINE. Patient recovered.
