Labetalol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 03, 2008. Male patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral artery embolism, cerebral artery occlusion, cerebral infarction, cognitive disorder, dysarthria, haemodialysis, renal failure, respiratory failure. Labetalol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NITROPRUSSIDE, EPOIETIN, DARBEPOETIN, FERROUS GLUCONATE, BLOOD. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: complications of transplanted kidney, haemodialysis, hypertension, renal tubular necrosis, treatment failure. Labetalol dosage: 3 MG/KG; IV. During the same period patient was treated with NITROPRUSSIDE, FRUSEMIDE, NITROPRUSSIDE, ATENOLOL. Patient recovered.
