Lamotrigine side effect was reported by a Physician from INDIA on June 26, 2006. Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with partial seizures, gastritis and was treated with Lamotrigine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , grand mal convulsion, pneumonia aspiration, pyrexia, vomiting. Lamotrigine dosage: 50MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DIAZEPAM, RANTAC, FLUIDS, CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/25/2006.
