Lansoprazole side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 20, 2005. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with reflux oesophagitis and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, acute respiratory failure, anorexia, ascites, aspiration, bacterial infection What is  bacterial infection, blood albumin decreased, blood bilirubin increased, coma. Lansoprazole dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, ALFARON, CLINORIL, ASPARA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
