Lansoprazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Mar 20, 2007. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with gastric ulcer, reflux oesophagitis and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, electroencephalogram abnormal, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemodialysis, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hyperammonaemia, hypoglycaemia, renal failure. Lansoprazole dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ITOROL, ARTIST, MUCOSTA, FOIPAN, SIGMART, ALLOPURINOL, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
