Linezolid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on June 10, 2005. Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 120.2 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal osteomyelitis and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood phosphorus decreased, decreased appetite, fatigue, lactic acidosis, nausea . Linezolid dosage: 600MG BID PARENTERAL. During the same period patient was treated with DETROL, XANAX, EFFEXOR, ATENOLOL, RESTORIL, AROMASIN, PRILOSEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
