Lopressor side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 10, 2008. Female patient, 51 years of age, weighting 115.0 lb, was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia and was treated with Lopressor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest. Lopressor dosage: 5MG 1 IV BOLUS. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and was treated with Lopressor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, ventricular fibrillation. Lopressor dosage: 80 MG / DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CIPRALAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac failure, cardiac pacemaker insertion, cardio-respiratory arrest, continuous haemodiafiltration, intentional overdose, ischaemia, percutaneous coronary intervention, suicide attempt.
