Lovastatin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 16, 2009. Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Lovastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , hypertension, rhabdomyolysis. Lovastatin dosage: 40 MG;QD. During the same period patient was treated with SITAGLIPTIN PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, acute myocardial infarction, anaemia, anxiety , atrial flutter, cardiac failure congestive, cardiomegaly, catheter sepsis, decubitus ulcer. Lovastatin dosage: 60 MG, QHS, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TELITHROMYCIN, GENTAMICIN, MIDODRINE HYDROCHLORIDE, WARFARIN, COREG, NEPHRO, ZANTAC, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/03/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with SITAGLIPTIN, DILTIAZEM, GLIMEPIRIDE, LEVOTHYROXINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ALENDRONATE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
