Lovastatin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2008. Female patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with renal failure acute and was treated with Lovastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, rhabdomyolysis. Lovastatin dosage: 80MG QHS PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, LISINOPRIL, NORTRIPTYLINE, MEMANTINE, GALANTAMINE HYDROBROMIDE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
