Mavik side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 24, 2005. Male patient, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, prostatism and was treated with Mavik. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , cerebral atrophy, computerised tomogram abnormal, ischaemia, syncope, ventricular extrasystoles, visual acuity reduced. Mavik dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, FLOMAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carotid artery stenosis, cerebrovascular accident, dysphagia, hemiparesis, visual acuity reduced. Mavik dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYL SALICYLIC ACID USP BAT, LEVOTHYROXINE, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
