Female patient, weighting 134.0 lb, was diagnosed with pancreatic carcinoma metastatic, weight decreased and was treated with Megace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood albumin decreased, oedema peripheral, pain in extremity, pitting oedema, thrombosis, urine output decreased. Megace dosage: 800 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with GEMZAR, PROCRIT, TARCEVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
