Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 182.0 lb, was diagnosed with uterine leiomyoma and was treated with Megestrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiomyopathy , chest pain , coronary artery disease , dyspnoea, ejection fraction decreased. Megestrol dosage: (40 MG QD, ORAL), (80 MG ORAL), (40 MG QD). During the same period patient was treated with MEGESTROL ACETATE, MEGESTROL ACETATE. Patient recovered.
