Meperidine Side Effects Report #5341990-2
Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2007. Male patient, 47 years of age, was diagnosed with echocardiogram and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, procedural complication, respiratory depression. Meperidine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, FENTANYL, HYDROMORPHONE, HYRDOCODONE BITARTRATE, PROMETHAZINE, GATIFLOXACIN, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, LANSOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.

Meperidine dosage: 25 MG; ONCE; IM. During the same period patient was treated with PHENELZINE, PERCODAN, ERYTHROMYCIN, CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/01/1984.

Meperidine dosage: 50 MG,. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
