Mercaptamine Side Effects Report #5885664-8
Mercaptamine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Aug 30, 2008. Male patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Mercaptamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, haemoglobin decreased, impetigo , joint stiffness, laboratory test abnormal, multiple epiphyseal dysplasia. Mercaptamine dosage: DAILY;ORAL 19.4 MG/KG;DAILY;ORAL 36 MG/KG;DAILY;ORAL 400 MG;DAILY;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, ERYTHROPRETIN, PHOSPHATE, BICARBONATE, INDOMETHACIN, ALFACALCIDOL. Patient recovered.
