Meronem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from MALAYSIA on Feb 18, 2009. Male patient, 15 years of age, was diagnosed with encephalitis What is  encephalitis, prophylaxis, convulsion and was treated with Meronem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridial infection, diarrhoea, pseudomembranous colitis, pyrexia. Meronem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE, PHENYTOIN. Patient died on 07/03/2008.
