Meronem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from MALAYSIA on Feb 18, 2009. Male patient, 15 years of age, was diagnosed with encephalitis , prophylaxis, convulsion and was treated with Meronem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridial infection, diarrhoea, pseudomembranous colitis, pyrexia. Meronem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE, PHENYTOIN. Patient died on 07/03/2008.
