Male patient, 88 years of age, weighting 92.59 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia , acute respiratory failure and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic function abnormal. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEOPHYLLIN. Patient recovered.
