Meropen Side Effects Report #5191430-1
Meropen side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Dec 06, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis , disseminated intravascular coagulation, pneumonia , cholangitis, lung disorder and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholangitis, hepatic failure, hepatitis , jaundice cholestatic, respiratory failure. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CARBENIN, NEUART, PENTOCILLIN, MAXIPIME, ELASPOL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood pressure decreased, coma hepatic, condition aggravated, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, hepatitis fulminant, hypoglycaemia, pneumonia . Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BROACT, SEDIEL, CLINORIL, CALCIUM CARBONATE, BAYASPIRIN, PROTECADIN, INDERAL LA. Patient died on 12/11/2004.
