Meropen side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 07, 2009. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection, pyrexia, sepsis What is  sepsis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, pyelonephritis, antipyresis, hypothyroidism and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: leukopenia, platelet count decreased. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUTHAN, GASTER, FLUMARIN, FENYTAREN, THYRADIN, PROBITOR. Patient died on 12/15/2008.
