Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with pyelonephritis acute and was treated with Meropenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, disseminated intravascular coagulation, pancytopenia. Meropenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TARGOCID, MINOMYCIN, OMEGACIN, HYDROCORTONE. Patient recovered.
