Metastron Side Effects Report #5707884-5
Metastron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 08, 2008. Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 98.33 lb, was diagnosed with metastatic pain and was treated with Metastron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood albumin decreased, condition aggravated, intra-abdominal haemorrhage, protein total decreased. Metastron dosage: 3.2 ML, SINGLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL CITRATE, CLOMIPRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient died on 03/29/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood albumin decreased, disseminated intravascular coagulation, large intestinal haemorrhage, oedema, platelet count decreased, pleural effusion, somnolence. Metastron dosage: 3.2 ML, SINGLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, CLOMIPRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient died on 03/29/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, blood magnesium decreased, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, humerus fracture, hypocalcaemia, inadequate analgesia, metastases to bone, myoclonus, neurotoxicity. Metastron dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
