Metformine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Sept 30, 2005. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, dementia alzheimer's type and was treated with Metformine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, malaise, orthostatic hypotension. Metformine dosage: 1700 MG (850 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NOOTROPYL, ARICEPT, FENOFIBRATE, OROCAL D, FOSAMAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with GLIBENCLAMIDE, ENALAPRIL MERCK, DILTIAZEM, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
