Methadone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 12, 2008. Female patient, 55 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Methadone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: electrocardiogram qt prolonged, syncope, torsade de pointes, unresponsive to stimuli, ventricular tachycardia. Methadone dosage: 40MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
