Methyldopa side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 09, 2009. Female patient, 37 years of age, weighting 332.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Methyldopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, back pain What is  back pain, blood pressure increased, hepatic necrosis, klebsiella sepsis, liver transplant What is  liver transplant, multi-organ failure. Methyldopa dosage: 250 MG TID PO. Patient died on 01/20/2009.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion spontaneous, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood pressure increased, hepatitis c positive, liver disorder. Methyldopa dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
