Metolazone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 03, 2006. Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 184.1 lb, was diagnosed with oedema, hypertension and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: renal failure chronic. Metolazone dosage: 2.5 MG PO EVERY OTHER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with cardiac failure congestive, hypertension and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, hypotension, oedema peripheral, renal failure chronic. Metolazone dosage: 2.5 MG EVERY DAY PO. Patient recovered.
