Mevacor side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 16, 1994. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia, type ii hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis What is  amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, asthenia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, dyspnoea exertional, muscular weakness, myalgia. Mevacor dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VASOTEC, ASPIRIN, LOPRESSOR. Patient died on 09/01/1995.
