Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 118.0 lb, was diagnosed with blood cholesterol increased and was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, fatigue, gait disturbance, mobility decreased, walking aid user. Mevacor dosage: 20 MG 1 A DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LOVASTATIN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 169.1 lb, was diagnosed with blood cholesterol, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral thrombosis, cerebrovascular accident, convulsion, dysarthria, fatigue, gait disturbance, grip strength decreased, hallucination, auditory, hemiplegia. Mevacor dosage: 80 MG. During the same period patient was treated with DIPYRIDAMOLE, FELODIPINE, METFORMIN, LASIX, ATENOLOL, PLAVIX. Patient recovered.
