Misoprostol side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 24, 2005. Female patient, 27 years of age, was diagnosed with abortion induced and was treated with Misoprostol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, bacterial infection What is  bacterial infection, blood albumin decreased, blood calcium decreased, blood potassium decreased, blood sodium decreased, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, clostridial infection, clostridium difficile sepsis. Misoprostol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIFEPRISTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/01/2001.

Misoprostol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIFEPRISTONE. Patient died on 09/01/2001.
