Montelukast side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 29, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with asthma What is  asthma and was treated with Montelukast. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, anaemia haemolytic autoimmune, dyspnoea at rest, hepatomegaly, jaundice What is  jaundice, ocular icterus, oedema peripheral, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory rate increased. Montelukast dosage: 10 MG ONCE DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZAFIRLUKAST, ALPRAZOLAM, AMLODIPINE, NABUMETONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
