Moxifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 29, 2009. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Moxifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperhidrosis, hypotension, nausea , pallor, pruritus, rash . Moxifloxacin dosage: 400 MG EVERY DAY IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diarrhoea, hypotension, nausea , pseudomembranous colitis, pyrexia. Moxifloxacin dosage: AS USED: 400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient died.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
