Mucomyst side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 20, 2005. Female patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with cough, angina pectoris, rhinitis allergic and was treated with Mucomyst. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: respiratory distress, stevens-johnson syndrome. Mucomyst dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KALEORID, LASILIX, VASTAREL, CLARITYNE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/07/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, diabetes mellitus, interstitial lung disease, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, respiratory failure. Mucomyst dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEDROL, OMEPRAZOLE, URBANYL, LAMICTAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/09/2003.
