Neostigmine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from BRAZIL on Dec 24, 2008. Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with rotator cuff repair and was treated with Neostigmine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, heart rate increased, hypercapnia, neuromuscular block prolonged, somnolence. Neostigmine dosage: 42.6 MG/KG; X1; IV. During the same period patient was treated with CLONIDINE, FENTANYL, ROPIVACAINE, PROPOFOL, ROCURONIUM BROMIDE, SEVOFLURANE, DEXAMETHASONE, ONDANSETRON. Patient recovered.
