Nitrostat side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 18, 2005. Female patient, 41 years of age, weighting 145.0 lb, was diagnosed with chest pain , ill-defined disorder and was treated with Nitrostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, cerebrovascular accident, dyspnoea, pain in extremity, prinzmetal angina. Nitrostat dosage: 0.4 MG (0.4 MG, PRN),. During the same period patient was treated with ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, NITRO PATCH, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LORAZEPAM, PHENERGAN, INDERAL LA, EFFEXOR, CARDIZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Nitrostat dosage: 0.4 MG (0.4 MG, PRN). During the same period patient was treated with IMDUR, IMITREX, NITRO PATCH, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LORAZEPAM, PHENERGAN, INDERAL LA, EFFEXOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 125.7 lb, was diagnosed with angina pectoris, chest pain , cerebrovascular accident prophylaxis, arthritis , blood potassium decreased and was treated with Nitrostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal infection, cardiac failure, cardiac failure congestive, cardiovascular disorder, central line infection, cerebrovascular accident, cholelithiasis, chronic respiratory failure, confusional state. Nitrostat dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ECOTRIN, CELEBREX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/15/2003.
