Norethindrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 10, 2006. Female patient, 42 years of age, weighting 251.3 lb, was diagnosed with uterine leiomyoma and was treated with Norethindrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis, dyspnoea exertional, hyperhidrosis, metrorrhagia, oedema peripheral, pain in extremity, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism. Norethindrone dosage: 0.4/0.035MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, FERROUS SULPHATE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, PYRIDOSTIGMINE BROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
