Novonorm side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CHINA on Sept 02, 2008. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Novonorm. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood glucose increased, chest discomfort, confusional state, fatigue, ventricular extrasystoles. Novonorm dosage: 1.5 MG. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Novonorm. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, coagulopathy, hepatocellular damage, hypoglycaemia, weight decreased. Novonorm dosage: 1 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with DIPIPERON, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood glucose increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, vomiting. Novonorm dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEPRAX, DIANBEN, CLOPIDOGREL, ISCOVER, DIGOXIN, ARICEPT, MANIDON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Novonorm. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cough, myocardial ischaemia. Novonorm dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, SEROPLEX, TAREG, ZOCOR, TRANDATE, STAGID, PLAVIX. Patient died on 06/17/2006.
