Novonorm side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Jan 16, 2009. Female patient, 89 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Novonorm. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysarthria, fall , hypoglycaemia, nervous system disorder, somnolence. Novonorm dosage: 3 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, BETASERC, TANGANIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, urinary incontinence , arteriosclerosis coronary artery and was treated with Novonorm. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , aphasia , blood creatine increased, blood glucose increased, constipation , dysarthria, hemiparesis, hypoglycaemia. Novonorm dosage: 2 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHIMAX, APROVEL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, CERIS, PLAVIX, SERMION, DUPHALAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
