Pazopanib and pulmonary embolism Patient Reports February 10, 2010

Pazopanib Side Effects Report #5419402-X
Pazopanib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 10, 2007. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 210.1 lb, was diagnosed with malignant glioma, deep vein thrombosis  and was treated with Pazopanib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , deep vein thrombosis , dyspnoea exertional, pulmonary embolism . Pazopanib dosage: 400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAPATINIB, LOVENOX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , deep vein thrombosis , dyspnoea exertional, pulmonary embolism . Pazopanib dosage: 400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAPATINIB, LOVENOX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 178.4 lb, was diagnosed with malignant glioma, convulsion, fatigue, prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, headache  and was treated with Pazopanib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , circulatory collapse, dyspnoea, fatigue, hypoxia, nausea , pulmonary embolism , sinus tachycardia, syncope. Pazopanib dosage: 600MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAPATINIB, PHENYTOIN, TEGRETOL, DEXAMETHASONE, ONDANSETRON, CODEINE PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/15/2008.

Pazopanib dosage: 400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAPATINIB, PACLITAXEL, OXYCONTIN, CELEXA, TRAZODONE, PREVACID, CREON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
