Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 02, 2005. Male patient, 34 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoglycaemia. Pentamidine dosage: 300 MG Q24H INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ACULAR, PREDNISONE, DIFLUCAN, BACITRACIN, PREVACID. Patient recovered.
