Pentoxifylline Side Effects Report #5346014-9
Pentoxifylline side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on May 24, 2007. Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, vitamin supplementation, anaemia of malignant disease and was treated with Pentoxifylline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema, haemorrhage, myoglobinaemia, pancytopenia, renal failure, rhabdomyolysis, sepsis
, toxic epidermal necrolysis, transaminases increased. Pentoxifylline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, RABEPRAZOLE, PREDNISOLONE, VITAMIN B12, ALIMTA, ZOFRAN, ARANESP. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
