Pepcid side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 13, 2006. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, shock, pneumonia aspiration, sedation, analgesic effect, dehydration and was treated with Pepcid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, adrenal cortex necrosis, blister, multi-organ failure, pancreatic necrosis, pneumonia , pneumonia aspiration, rhabdomyolysis, septic shock. Pepcid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PITRESSIN, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, DORMICUM, MAGNESIUM CITRATE, PENTAGIN, LACTEC, VEEN F. Patient died on 09/18/2006.
