Perospirone side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 11, 2007. Female patient, 51 years of age, weighting 179.1 lb, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, undifferentiated type and was treated with Perospirone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcoholism What is  alcoholism, delusion, hyperprolactinaemia, increased appetite, irritability, metabolic syndrome What is  metabolic syndrome, polydipsia, sleep disorder What is  sleep disorder, weight increased. Perospirone dosage: 12 MG, DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, QUETIAPINE FUMARATE, ZYPREXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
