Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with dysuria and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, dysuria, epigastric discomfort, haemoglobin decreased, hepatitis toxic, hepatocellular damage, hepatomegaly. Phenazopyridine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PENICILLIN, SULFISOXAZOLE, AMPICILLIN. Patient recovered.

Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with bladder discomfort, cystocele, dysuria and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, accidental overdose, diarrhoea, diverticulum intestinal, gastritis erosive, hyponatraemia, jaundice What is  jaundice, myocardial infarction, nephrosclerosis. Phenazopyridine dosage: 500 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, ATROPINE, ETHACRYNIC ACID, DIGITALIS, OXYGEN, DIPHENOXYLATE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient died on 01/01/1967.
