Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 243.6 lb, was diagnosed with glucose tolerance impaired and was treated with Pioglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenocarcinoma pancreas, bile duct cancer, biliary neoplasm, blood albumin increased, blood glucose increased, cholelithiasis, gastric cancer, hepatic mass, hepatitis . Pioglitazone dosage: 30 MG, 1 IN 1 D; PER ORAL, 45 MG, 1 IN 1 D, PER ORAL. Patient died on 01/16/2006.
