Plaquenil Side Effects Report #4563645-4
Plaquenil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Dec 30, 2004. Female patient, 41 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, epilepsy  and was treated with Plaquenil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antinuclear antibody positive, anuria, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, heart rate increased, hepatic failure. Plaquenil dosage: 400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with LAMICTAL, PREDNISONE, CACIT D, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bacterial infection , cytomegalovirus test positive, diarrhoea, erythema, exanthem, hyperthermia, lymphopenia, rash macular. Plaquenil dosage: 200 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, IMOCUR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
