Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Aug 22, 2006. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with neutropenia and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lung infiltration, respiratory failure. Posaconazole dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on Nov 20, 2006. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection , pleuritic pain and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, bronchitis , disease progression, hypercapnia, nausea , pleuritic pain, pneumonia , respiratory failure, stenotrophomonas infection. Posaconazole dosage: 200 MG QID PO ; 400 MG BID ; 200 MG QID ; 200 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, NEOROL, MEDROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
