Potassium Side Effects Report #5275352-3
Potassium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from GERMANY on Mar 14, 2007. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, cardiac failure congestive and was treated with Potassium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, asthenia, atrioventricular block first degree, blood creatinine increased, dehydration, diarrhoea, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, hyperkalaemia. Potassium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRINIVIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, COMBIVENT, DARVOCET, LASIX, ZOCOR, CITALOPRAM, HYDROXYZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
