Prazosin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2006. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 144.4 lb, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Prazosin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal pain, musculoskeletal chest pain, orthostatic hypotension, syncope. Prazosin dosage: 2 MG 1 CAP BID. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, SIMETHICONE, CYANOCOBALAMIN, OMEPRAZOLE, ASPIRIN, GUAIFENISEN. Patient recovered.

Prazosin dosage: 20 MG (4 MG, 5 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA, LITHIUM CARBONATE, TRANDOLAPRIL, INDAPAMIDE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ROSUVASTATIN, ZOPICLONE, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
