Proglycem side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on July 25, 2005. Male patient, weighting 11.68 lb, was diagnosed with hyperinsulinism and was treated with Proglycem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, cardiomegaly, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, dilatation ventricular, fluid retention, hepatomegaly, mitral valve incompetence. Proglycem dosage: 17MG.KG-1QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
