Promethazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2008. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 140.0 lb, was diagnosed with nausea  and was treated with Promethazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, headache , hypertension, tachycardia, tachypnoea. Promethazine dosage: 25 MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, headache , syncope, tachycardia. Promethazine dosage: 12.5MG EVERY 3HRS PRN INTRAVENOU. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Promethazine dosage: 25MG PRN INTRAVENOU. During the same period patient was treated with IV DYE. Patient recovered.
