Proscar side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 27, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Proscar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, diabetes mellitus, dizziness What is  dizziness, movement disorder What is  movement disorder, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, respiratory failure. Proscar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAMSULOSIN, ACCUPRIL, CHOLRAZEPATE, CLARINEX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/06/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atelectasis, blood pressure systolic increased, chest discomfort, contusion, diabetes mellitus, dizziness What is  dizziness, fall What is  fall, pleural effusion, pneumonia What is  pneumonia. Proscar dosage: 5 MG/DAILY/ PO. During the same period patient was treated with FLOMAX, ACCUPRIL, CHLORAZEPATE, CLARINEX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/06/2005.
